Rectinol is a haemorrhoidal ointment containing a local anaesthetic, which provides temporary relief of external and internal haemorrhoids, fissures and pruritus (itching).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

For the symptomatic relief of pain and itching associated with haemorrhoids, fissures, pruritus ani and other non-infective anorectal conditions. Contains Cinchocaine hydrochloride - a local anaesthetic to soothe the pain of haemorrhoids and Zinc oxide - an astringent to soothe and protect irritated skin.

Ingredients

Contains: Zinc Oxide 200mg/g, Cinchocaine Hydrochloride 5mg/g.

Directions

Use up to three times daily (morning, noon and night) preferably after a bowel motion. External Haemorrhoids - Apply a small amount of ointment using a clean finger. Internal Haemorrhoids - Apply externally as above. Screw applicator to tube, then insert applicator in rectum and squeeze tube. Do not use for longer than 7 days without seeking medical advice.
